Arkitektur Magazine

Arkitektur is Sweden’s oldest magazine about architecture with a mission to present and document new Swedish architecture. Malmsten Hellberg was asked to redesign the magazine as a contemporary culture magazine. Our goal has been to refine the text and image experience with a clearer editorial tone. Strong typography plays an important part. The main typeface is Ivar, with the introduction of a new headline version: Ivar Condensed. As a complement we’re using Swedish Gothic, a completely new typeface from Letters from Sweden, to be released later this year. Pitch Sans from Klim appears in section headers.
