Svenskt Tenn: A Philosophy of Home

Estrid Ericson established Svenskt Tenn in 1924, a pewter workshop and a store that would grow into a unique manufacturer and design retailer. Her vision was progressive and her interior philosophy, often together with her creative partner Josef Frank, continues to inspire. This autumn, Svenskt Tenn celebrates 100 years of design with an extensive exhibition at Liljevalchs, curated by british design writer Jane Withers and Svenskt Tenn’s Karin Södergren. The project was preceded by years of planning and Malmsten Hellberg were involved early on for graphic design and communication. At the heart of the solution is a modular metal signage system referencing the Svenskt Tenn archive and the store. The exhibition is open until the 12th of January 2025.
