Mike Kelley: Ghost and Spirit

Mike Kelley (1954–2012) was a hugely influential American artist whose work involved found objects, textile banners, drawings, collage, performance, photography, sound and video. He also collaborated with many other artists and musicians. Mike Kelley: Ghost and Spirit, the first retrospective of his work in Scandinavia, is organized by Tate Modern with Moderna Museet, Bourse de Commerce, and K21 Nordrhein-Westfalen. The presentation at Moderna Museet is curated by Hendrik Folkerts with exhibition architecture by Formafantasma. Graphic design by Malmsten Hellberg, using Moderna Museet’s version of Tid by Letters from Sweden and Stefania Malmsten.
