Lynette Yiadom-Boakye

Fly In League With The Night is Lynette Yiadom-Boakye’s largest retrospective exhibition, spanning her entire career. The exhibition, organised by Tate Britain in collaboration with Moderna Museet, is produced in close collaboration with the artist, who instead of ordering her works chronologically, has created contexts, moods, and dialogues between works. “The characters in Lynette Yiadom-Boakye’s works are not portraits in the sense that they were made from life. The motifs in her paintings can be based on a colour, a movement, or a gesture.” Malmsten Hellberg designed posters, ads and walls in the museum.
