Tal R
The artist Tal R (Tal Rosenzweig) lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has established himself as a powerful voice in contemporary art since the 1990s, and as an influential professor and teacher to younger artists. He has exhibited at museums around the world. With The Elephant in the Room, Tal R takes over Millesgården Museum with paintings and sculptures that explore the domestic sphere. There’s also a monumental pink elephant among Milles’s classic white plaster casts. Malmsten Hellberg has designed a catalogue for the exhibition that includes all the works from the exhibition along with poems by Melanie Kitti and an interview by Bronwyn Griffith. The catalogue is printed at Narayana Press in Denmark with typeface A2 Gothic Mono by A2-Type and Lyon Text by Commercial Type. Malmsten Hellberg also designed signage for the exhibition in collaboration with Hangmen Studios.
