Sigurd Lewerentz: Architect of Death and Life is a landmark new book produced in two languages in connection with the extensive exhibition that opens at ArkDes this autumn. 712 pages in three parts; with almost 800 images and a monographic text based on new research. It’s a book with unique archive images and new images by Johan Dehlin that have been given generous formats – reproduced and printed on carefully selected paper qualities. Göran Söderström has made a custom version of Ivar for the text, along with the new typeface Sigurd. Sigurd Lewerentz’ “silent architecture”, his works and his methods were sources of inspiration in the working process.
