Adidas Marathon Magazine

Adidas is the main sponsor of Stockholm Marathon and for the second time they’re paying tribute to the runners in the form of a magazine that is handed out to all participants when they collect their number bib. This issue focuses on running as the most democratic sport of all. It features portraits of people like Eina Roxström, 84, a former print worker, who has run every Stockholm Marathon race since 1979; Heshlu Andemariam, who fled from Eritrea to Sweden and doesn’t mind extreme heat; as well as running clubs that are open to everyone, even in the cold Swedish winters. Creative direction and production is by Malmsten Hellberg, with editor Carmilla Floyd / Walkie Talkie. The large format publication, with photography by Angelina Mamoun-Bergenwall and Dennis Wernersson, is printed in high-speed heatset in Sundsvall, Sweden.
